Designing Dreams,
Building Futures
Edward Fortich’s journey in construction began with a simple passion: turning design into reality. After earning his Bachelors in Architectural Studies Degree from Florida International University, he built a foundation working for prestigious firms like Zyscovich Architects, where he managed multimillion-dollar projects such as the $40M Glades Middle School and the $15M Mirador Towers renovation in South Beach. At Sotolongo Architects, he contributed to the master-planned community of Silver Lakes, one of South Florida’s largest residential developments. His role as Owner’s Representative at Millennium Developers expanded his expertise further, overseeing high-rise condos and mixed-use developments valued at more than $25M.
Motivated by a desire to bring that same caliber of work directly to clients, Ed launched Simja Construction, Simja Enterprises, and Simja Developers. Over the past two decades, his companies have designed or built 28+ restaurants for brands such as Earl of Sandwich, 100 Montaditos, and Lizarran, as well as luxury residences up to 12,000 sq. ft. and multi-family developments across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Today, with more than 25 years of hands-on experience, Ed continues to lead his accomplished team with a client-first philosophy—balancing technical precision, creative problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in every project.
